    Got more snow overnight, dusting on everything but puddles. Kinda surprised the ground is cold enough

    Been above freezing now for nearly 24 hrs! Currently 43 and insanely slick just formed a tractor gang and took matters into our own hands we plowed our road, all the neighbors drives, and the main road Mexican food here I come!

    welp, tried to drive out to the city to get some supplies (and more importantly eat Mexican food) Toyota tundra with aggressive offroad tires, locked differential, and stayed in 4lo yeah, slid off the road immediately lol. thankfully could get the car back to the house. GFS (if it's to be believed) says we still have some snow on rhe ground this weekend (on the plateau)

    Found some 2+ft snow drifts on my property bordering a field. Currently 3° and got another half inch of snow

    These have been some very persistent standing wave clouds! They haven't moved in hours

    FWIW The Extended GEFS from Thursday 1-18 wanted to form another glacier after Feb 8th. This mornings run has backed off the glacier but still has snow chances around the same time frame in parts of the tn valley The control is warmer than the ensemble average for mid month Feb, pretty big difference.

    Light snow here atm, haven't even attempted to walk off my porch yet to see the conditions. Looks like a death trap lol

    Moderate freezing rain, like a dense mist. Temps "shot" up to 33 for a few minutes but back to 31°

    Hiked down to the main road (Jones Gap) to check on conditions. Best skating rink I've ever seen

    Temps made it to 29° but clouds just rolled in. Definitely has an eery dense fog look

    I know so rare for me in the valley, even deep snows like this are usually mostly gone by this time in the day. See you got a good freezing rain coating also. Yeah, we had about 9 inches at max of snow/sleet last night. The freezing rain has compacted it to about 6 inches, my 2 year old doesn't break thru the ice layer so is not a fan of the slip and slide! As much as I want more snow, I really hope we don't get more freezing rain. Evergreens are bending a lot

    It's still snowing/sleeting, no idea on the snow depth but we picked up another few inches overnight 36 hrs of snowfall! Now to keep the pipes from freezinf
