Yeah, true. I just talked to my mom. She's running around in a panic buying groceries. My dad was cussing at some old rusty snowblower thst hasn't run since 2016. I'll tell them to chill. Lol
The CMC was deadly accurate on our last fail. I'd definitely give it credit. This is starting to look like a classic 90's thump to junk storm. This is why I cringe when I hear "non complicated overrunning" lol.
When i was on the Tug Hill in early January I noticed a really weird sound coming from the trees. I was walking on a snowmobile trail at night. It was dead calm but the trees were making a cracking sound like I've never heard around here. It wasn't snow on the trees or anything like that. My guess is they are frozen.
I'd put money on the fact that the goofus is about to crap itself in the middle of this run. I'm waiting for it's classic mid range rug pull that isn't real lol
It's definitely going to cut the stuff along the coast and down around the northern neck, and southern MD. The jack will be shown over my area before eventually jacking Carroll County like usual. Book it. I know my climo lol
The 9 i got overnight melted down to about 3" that rainy day. The evening ull was the best part. I don't want that when models have been insisting on a foot plus without the 45 degree drizzle. Horrible compared to what this weekend could bring.
Horrible storm here lol. I got about 9" before flipping to rain at 5am. It was like 45 and drizzly the entire next day. That evening was the main event here. I received 5" of snow in a couple hours along with lightning.
I wasn't expecting it to feel like upstate NY this morning here in the lowlands. My point and click confused me for a second. I thought i had to set on Lacona NY when I looked at the long range forecast. Awesome period of deep winter incoming.
