It looks like we finally got some decent rain early this morning. The creeks are flowing again and the wetlands are wet again.

Yeah. I was just looking at totals and we actually did better than I thought overnight. It looks like today we could catch up a bit. Models look great.

Same thing here but still severe drought lol. I knew this was going to be the case in my area. Models were hinting at a screw zone in this area.

Days of drizzle haven't done anything for the drought but it has ruined the weekend for lots of fokes. Congrats PA and northern Md on the drought buster. It's been raining for days nonstop up there. Impressive.

This is the most frustrating drizzle fest I've seen since the last one lol. Oh look! Another batch of rain headed towards the same area that keeps getting hit while the rest of us get scraps.

Yeah. This looks like a west of DC event. The drought will rage on here. Sprinkles for days is just annoying. I rather it just be sunny and dry AF.

Pretty much a dud east of DC. Just the same ole same ole. Forecast for 1-2". Received my usual .10 overnight. Looks like a cloudy drizzly day with another .10 otw lol

Meh.. that stuff is a goner imo. I like that action developing down to the sw in VA. That's probably our shot at rain this evening south of Baltimore.

This first round definitely wasn't ours. HRRR gives eastern areas a few showers this evening and that's it for today. Hopefully it's correct about tomorrow.

Congrats everyone NW. Nothing here but sprinkles. Looks like the same areas that got hit yesterday get hit again today while the rest of us drought. I'm so tired of no weather. There's be nothing since Jan 24th.

Well I'll be damn. It's raining! I've got some dark clouds and rain showers moving through my area of the lowlands.

Doing crazy heat around here is so easy. It doesn't really matter the pattern once Mid May gets here. I wonder if we get our customary 100-103 temps in mid June for a few days. It kills off the early tomato flowers. This heatwave is as bad as the one we had in March lol. Dreaming of 0 visibility in heavy snow on the Tug for Christmas.

It rained pretty heavily several times overnight. Definitely a lot more than I expected. I'm getting one last heavy downpour as I type. Great news!

It's been a steady moderate rain here all morning. It looks heavier on radar than it actually is. There's probably some big wet snowflakes aloft.
