  1. Lol we all make that mistake. I like to harden off my seedlings. You need to keep the soil cool. I put straw around the pots. Even on a cool day the sun can heat the soil and fry the delicate roots.
  2. If you count dry roaring winds with high clouds everyday. The wind can stop now.
  3. Funny how just a couple months ago the LR forecast for the Midwest was for a worsening drought lol.
  4. Yeah. I'm east of 95. It's pretty normal here. I had almost 2" a few days ago.
  5. I'm ready for 95/75 Oh look! Roaring wind and clouds. That's new lol
  6. Wow. I was just on the roof of a house treating it for algae and moss. Suddenly a roaring wind gust came blasting through and made me hunker down until it passed. I work outside and I fucking hate this wind everyday lol
  7. I guess it vanished as it moved into MD. That's new lol. Don't worry! Cold spring temps, clouds, and 50 mph winds won't fail. .03
  8. Where did this storm tonight come from lol. I haven't been paying that much attention. I thought their was going to be an isolated thunderstorm tonight. It looks like a full on stormy night. Most areas will probably see way more rain tonight then from the Nor'easter Blast that wasn't a blast.
  9. Legal plants getting sun for the first time. Normally they are under a light.
  10. Time to wake this thing up. Today I covered my garden with the first layer of straw of the season. I do a no till organic garden. There's no weeding. Once weeds show up. You add another layer to the surface. You build amazing soil and it cut watering in half. So far the only plants I have are my 4 legal cannabis plant seedlings. I planted two, 30 foot rows of potatoes today.
  11. One more shift south so it hits the usual suspects lol
  12. Out here planting potatoes in my garden. I'm just use to the roaring wind. Hardly noticed until you mentioned it. I can't wait for actual pleasant weather.
  13. I thought the same thing when I checked my measurement this morning. I was expecting over 2" by the way it sounded during the night. 1.65" total
  14. That was the best soaking rain I've seen in a long time. It's still drizzly and damp. 1.65"
  15. 1.20" so far. Super steady all day long. The radar is looking impressive. The low pressure is developing nicely. I can see the trees outside my windows getting blown around.
  16. I hope that area moves over the lowlands this evening and overnight. I like the NAM 3k for a lowland special. It likes the flatlands too. 2-3" by tomorrow.
  17. I can't remember the last time it rained this steady. It's been raining the same intensity ever since it started. Raindrop production must be great because the drops have been big ever since it started. .90 with steady moderate rain. I feel for the nw crew.
  18. I'd be out in the forest enjoying my pounding and definitely not on here watching JI meltdown. I'd pop in every once in a while and troll him lol
  19. Good to see it making it up that way. I've had big juicy raindrops falling moderately since around 8:30. .62 and moderately raining.
  20. We're starting to see the creeks running and standing water. I think the south river watershed area is going to get some water backing up. I'm headed into Bacon Ridge this afternoon to document the conditions.
  21. Pouring in the lowlands for the past half hour. Lots more to come according to radar.
  22. HRRR looks great for most of MD. It clobbered PG and AA County. Models have had a pretty good idea all week. I understand the frustration in your comment. I hope your backyard floods too.
