  1. Wow! Down here in the severe drought region we're watching it dry up on radar as it approaches. My area lost its hot hand from last July.
  2. I witnessed nearly 150" fall last winter. I witnessed nearly 100" in 4 days on the Tug Hill. Another 16" in Harrington Delaware during the coastal storm in Feb and about 18" imby. My goal this winter is 300"+
  3. Radar looks slightly interesting. Looks like some shower trying to make it into the lowlands. Looks mostly south. They look like slow movers.
  4. Anyone ever winder why it seems some areas get more thunderstorms then others? For my immediate area it's Glen Burnie that is the Hotspot for storms. I feel like from Ellicott City down to Glen Burnie is thunderstorm ally. My area was on a hot hand last July. Every chance for storms seemed to deliver. Some years I can't buy a storm. They all hit Glen Burnie.
  5. NAM tries to bring a few storms across our region this afternoon. Looks like slim pickings but it's a chance.
  6. I can't believe a couple showers actually made it into the dried up lowlands during the night. It looks like it didn't amount to much but it's something.
  7. Congrats everyone that got rain last week and again this evening. I hope to maybe hear some distance thunder later on as it passes to my north per usual lately.
  8. Hopefully something pops up. Some afternoon strong thunderstorms would be nice. It's been a real snoozer since Sleet fest.
  9. This shit is so boring lol. Great for my business. No weather delays is a beautiful thing. I'd give up a few bucks for a couple days of good steady tropical rain. That would make a fun summer rain hike.
  10. Whatever happened to thunderstorms? It seems like we don't get thunderstorms until July these days. Any weather at all has been hard to come by for years. The most exciting weather event in the past several years was the sleet fest back in Jan.
  11. Flowers are already wilting here. You can't even tell it rains. Sprinkle fest didn't dint the drought here.
  12. Sprinkle fest from central PG over to the coast. You can hardly tell it rained here. Dry lakes, and creeks are almost dry again. 30 miles nw got over 4". Here only like 1.60".
  13. About 1.50". Needed more then that lol
  14. That was the perfect way to end sprinkle fest. With sprinkles lol. Welp.. that sucked. Back to drought. What happened to the "pattern change"? Looks like back to no rain in sight.
  15. One last day of sprinkles fest 2026 for us lowlanders then back to drought by next week. At least it looks beautiful.
  16. I have lol. It's just been a little frustrating watching the good stuff missing north and then to the south. We've had a few decent periods of rain but mostly very light rain or drizzle. It made for a cool hike yesterday. Felt like I was in a tropical rain forest.
  17. Looks like sprinkle fest continues for another day. Looks like a new batch of sprinkles developing and headed this way. Crazy how sprinkles and showers added up to about 1.50" over the past week.
  18. Beautiful city.. I think. I drove through it during their second snowiest day in the history of the city. I might of told you this already. I'll be telling that story for a long time lol. An epic LES band was parked over the city. I punched through it in four wheel drive. It was dark and scary, and it was 11:00am lol
  19. Shower/sprinkle fest has been super annoying lol. I've been lucky the scraps added up over time but it's days of watching rain miss to the north and now south lol
  20. Didn't we have a record high and low the same week? Seems like an unusual pattern lol
  21. It looks like we finally got some decent rain early this morning. The creeks are flowing again and the wetlands are wet again.
  22. Yeah. I was just looking at totals and we actually did better than I thought overnight. It looks like today we could catch up a bit. Models look great.
  23. Same thing here but still severe drought lol. I knew this was going to be the case in my area. Models were hinting at a screw zone in this area.
  24. Days of drizzle haven't done anything for the drought but it has ruined the weekend for lots of fokes. Congrats PA and northern Md on the drought buster. It's been raining for days nonstop up there. Impressive.
