  1. I've gotten use to the heat and humidity. I work outside all day. Today I was in Deal, MD applying polly sand to a paver patio. It was partly shaded and their was a nice breeze. I'm looking forward to a nice rain tomorrow for my cannabis ladies.
  2. Holy shit. I was in Crownsville pressurewashing a pier. I'm not paying attention to the sky. Suddenly I hear thunder. I look back towards his house and lightning strikes the trees across the street from his house. I'm standing there with a lance in my hand with water shooting out the end. I kept going lol Edit: Now im in Parole and it's dumping buckets.
  3. Radar looked promising during the night but nothing here in the South River watershed. Hopefully everyone gets a good soaker this evening.
  4. I guess i have to carry on without the thunderstorm. The 200mg cookie and fat joint are a lock. It doesn't feel that bad out there today. Yesterday tried to kill me but my ac trick was there lol
  5. Radar folded faster than a WSW in January lol. Hopefully it juices back up again.
  6. My entire childhood it seemed every storm went north of me and hit Glen Burnie. They still do. That place is a magnet for storms. I'd be interested to see a map of thunderstorm frequency over the past 100 years. It would be interesting to see if some areas do better then others. Besides the obvious areas like Stephen City lol
  7. Swwwwww... nasty out there. I worked in my garden this morning, cleaned my work truck, now off to wash a house in Ellicott City. Bob Chill, you're not alone grinding in this heat. I'll be ready for a tall lemonade, 200mg cookie, and a fat joint to go with a nice thunderstorm this evening.
  8. The drought monitor says different lol. I know it's frustrating but your area is no difference than anywhere else. When the worm turns, look out. NAM brings storms into your area this evening.
  9. I figured you would be. Even I'm watching it down here to your SE. It's unusual for storms over Carroll County to effect my area. It looks like there's some outflow running out ahead of it. We'll see.
  10. Brutal out there. I polly sanded a paver patio this morning and stained a deck this afternoon. It was a beast in this heat. My truck has been reading 100 degrees for the past hour.
  11. I love a nice NE wind for a week to generate a swell. Than a light west wind for a day. It happens in October. I've seen some dreamy surf conditions along our beaches during that combination. Beautiful day to work outside today. I didn't even notice the temperature besides it not being hot.
  12. The clouds and humidity made me a little whiny this morning because of a important project im working on. The conditions because perfect at around 11. The wind flipped NW and the dry air flooded into the lowlands. I worked until 7:30 and got it done.
  13. What happened to the nice weather? I see a heatwave starting in 2 days. No low humidity lol.
  14. No change here yet. Just another cloudy, wet, humid morning.
  15. Their was a dieing heavy shower about 70 miles to your NW. It could be the Carroll County stuff. I was in Easton a few years ago. I could see the anvil from a storm in Central PA. I find that kinds stuff interesting.
  16. Really? There's a shower about 70 miles to your NW. That might be what you see. The furthest storm I've seen is about 120 miles. OC to Frederick is far.
  17. What's going on here? Models didn't really catch this earlier. This area of rain seems to be growing and intensifying.
  18. Flash flood warnings popping off and steadily raining here in the lowlands east of DC. It's pretty loud just to my NW.
  19. Woooooo.... the radar surprised me. I just noticed what looks like a rain train headed right towards my yard. Why not.. what's one more flood event before the dry week ahead.
  20. Yup. I've completely lost my tomato plants due to hot humid nights. Blight just went nuts. The only plants in my garden that are doing well are my cannabis plants. I'm looking forward to lower dews this week.
  21. This year has to be a record for cloudy mornings. I was on the swim team for many years as a kid. We had practice every morning. It was never cloudy.
  22. Oh look! More rain incoming. That's new lol
  23. That's a loud little storm up around laurel.
  24. I'm hiking in South River watershed as i type. It's extremely tropical out here. It feels the the rainforest exhibit i went to on a field trip as a kid. Dewpoints are probably 80+ back here. The temp is probably only 83 on north facing ridges and shady wetlands.
  25. Oh look! Shocker! Another cloudy, extremely humid, soggy morning. I can not wait until 50 degrees and cloudy for 6 months returns.
