I have a feeling that's the case again for today. Wait for cool dry air in this area is like watching paint dry while it's drizzling.

I wonder if actually clears today. As of right now it's pretty socked in and still raining here. Probably another dreary day. Does anyone know what's going on with the personal rainstorm in AA County? It's clear to the east and west but socked in with rain and drizzle here. This nice pattern has been overrated since last week. I've had two days of nice weather in the past week.

To my surprise (not surprised) it has rained all night here. Steady rain, sometimes heavy. I'd estimate another half inch at least. When does the dry spell start lol

Visible satellite shows some dry air trying to eat away at it in the nw areas. It looks like we're in it for a while east of the fall line.

If you want rain you need to head to Anne Arundel County. It's been a steady rain all morning. It's just PG and AA as usual. If there's rain in the forecast, it's happening here lol. Definitely not dry here since June.

I just need 2-3 more weeks for my project than I'll get back on the weather train. It would be nice to have a Halloween week Nor'easter. It's been forever since we've had a fun October storm.

The gfs is mainly the rainy one. My point and click has rain all next week. It looks like it depends on a tropical low to our SE.

Crazy change in the forecast for next week. Humid, cloudy, rainy. This is why I don't worry about dry in the fall. It doesn't last long.

Yeah. The forecast for next week is going downhill. It's hard for this area to stay pleasant for more than a week.

I forgot to empty my rain bucket from the 3" storm a couple weeks ago. Between yesterday's multiple storm hits and heavy rain all night. I'd estimate nearly 2". No drought in the lowlands lol

Here in jackpotville it poured all night off and on. Looks like more coming this morning. Today's forecast doesn't look as nice as it did a couple days ago. I'm so ready for drought round two lol

Models don't see that enthusiastic about rain today. I hope what does fall, falls where it's needed and not here again. Stephen City can have my rain.

Probably close to an inch here in the swampy lowlands. The NAM 3k brings in more action around 8. HRRR not so much.

My area doesn't miss rain in summer 2025. Looks like a couple inches coming and more flooding. I was hoping for drought through September lol Looks like some training setting up for the lowlands. Possibly flash flood #6 incoming.

The GFS love giving the area super rare events. I'm still waiting for my 45" of snow in Annopoils from those runs last winter lol

I love the dry weather. Great for business and my garden has improved. My area has been a swamp all summer. We received almost 3" from a storm before the dryer weather moved in so my area is fine.

The GFS seems to think we get a pretty good soaking Thursday and Friday. Looks like an inch for everyone west of the bay and about half of that eaat of the bay. It doesn't look that dry over the next 10 days.
