  1. It's perfect for some heavy gardening. I was digging rows for zucchini and hardly a drip of sweat this evening. My garden liked that warm humid weather we had a couple days ago. I perfer the cool dry weather.
  2. Starting to cloud up ahead of the next storm. Looks like a nice soaking 1-1.5" for tomorrow.
  3. It looks like morning storms are a bust. Its way down in VA. No biggie since my area has had over 3" this week.
  4. That second round was a damn good storm. Nice gust, lots of lightning and heavy rain. Total of .90 so far.

  8. Today has a sneaky thunderstorm day feel and look to it.
  9. Hopefully the sun heats things up enough to bring storms later. Nothing here overnight. Just fog and mist.
  10. I literally went "oh, nice" when I popped up radar. The sun has been breaking out and it's getting breezy and tropical. Im working in my garden. All of my plants are taking off.
  11. Those fokes up there are no weekend hikers. I perfer extreme winter conditions so I don't do tropical rain like the Appalachian trail hikers. I perfer blizzards and extreme cold. Don't worry. They knew it was coming and everyone either enjoyed it or hunkered down.
  12. Maybe round #2 developing in Southern VA? I wonder if that could be the thunderstorms for later today.
  13. Fantastic event! That was exactly what was needed. Thanks mother nature! RIP major drought! I received an inch overnight and 2.15" for the event.
  14. It's been pouring all night here in the lowlands. The drought buster is real.
  15. The 100" of snow wasn't enough? Lol. Glad to hear your getting a good soaker out there too.
  16. The rain shield is expanding and gaining strength. This could get kinda interesting in the mountains. I hear the rain on the roof as I type.
  17. Short range models seem to think it's going to be a rainy night for most of the area.
  18. 1.18" here in the South River watershed. It's still steadily lightly raining. I'm going to take a hike and check out the flowering mountain laurel.
  19. Pouring in the lowlands. The watershed is coming alive. Im thinking about doing a rain hike this afternoon to check it out.
  20. This next batch moving north looks nice. Beautiful radar image this morning.
  21. I was surprised to see I've had .83 so far. It's nice and juicy out there with big ole fat raindrops. Perfect for a drought.
  22. Radar looks great for everyone. Finally a good soaker.
  23. Another boring non event. Oh joy lol
  24. I've learned. I go with the model with less weather. The gfs doesn't look very impressive. Here comes the walk back to sprinkles lol
