    We getting rocked in the lowlands. The South River watershed is running hard! Route 450 might get flooded shortly.

    I guess it was just delayed. Pouring, and the radar looks great for DC and S&E. Looks like I'm working in the rain today. Oh well. I get wet anyway (we wash residential and commercial buildings).

    More delayed than denied. Looks like a dry day today but rain tonight.

    Wow. Chillier up there above Baltimore. 10 degrees warmer down here in the great white lowlands.

    It will be interesting to see rain actually make it into the area. I've been watching it miss us to the north for a week. It hasn't been easy to get rain into the area for the past year. Models seem to like 1-2" today and tonight.

    The temperature gradient here in the lowlands is wild. There's a 10 degree different in walking distance.

    The lowlands had a good gusty shower this morning with a rumble of thunder. It looks like another shower moving this way as I type. Looks like a damp day ahead. Edit: And were thunderstorming again. More thunder with this round but probably less rain.

    The sky is mostly clear and the south wind just picked up. It feels tropical. It feels like the ingredients are here. We just need a trigger.

    Slight risk removed and now the sun and humidity are starting to show. Hopefully we can still get some rain later.

    First drops here. The frogs and crickets are out. I don't hear thunder but I see a wall of water on radar. I hope everyone gets a flooded yard.

    Wow. Radar really popped. It looks like some good rains up near Fredrick. The radar off to the SW also looks juicy. Someone is going to get 2-3" .

    It's starting to get the feel of strong thunderstorms. Sun is blazing, humidity is increasing and the south wind is ripping. LFG

    Wow. Feels like a summer morning. It looks like a line of showers in VA trying to move east into the area. Hopefully it gives us some morning rain than clears out and we get some sun for later storms.

    I guess you're right come to think about it. The drought has been kinda morphing around the MA for a long time. My area got swamped for several years while the Blue Ridge droughted out.

    It's wild how the Richmond area has been a magnetic for precip for the past year. That area has a surplus of rain.

    Beautiful spring morning after an all day soaker yesterday. Life is returning to the forest here in the lowlands. Looking forward to some more showers this evening.

    It was susposed to stop raining around 10 this morning. It's been a steady all day rainer. I'd estimate close to a half inch and still raining.
