The drought is dead. The last stubborn pond in my area is now finally full again. 1.80" here in the lowlands west of Annopoils. It's super lush and green. My cannabis plants are thigh high already lol
Yeah. Our region was in the light stuff most of the night. It started coming down harder around 3am here. I'm up to .87" so far and it's coming down pretty hard.
Starting to see some sun here in the lowlands. It looks dark to the south and southwest. The line of blue is trying to move south.
Edit: Back to cloudy and dark. It seems like this is it for today. Looks like Thursday before we see any sun.
Low of 49 here in the lowlands. It's absolutely beautiful this morning. The temp is already up to 60 in my garden as the morning sun advances across it.
Oh look. Roaring wind again. Shocker. I'm ready for 95/70 if that means no f***ing wind lol
Edit: And here comes the daily clouds lol. Either way. It's going to be a great day. LFG!
I've had good success with seed from American Meadows. They have native flower mixes for our area. Nothing eats the flowers and they are drought resistant.
1.23" for the event. My garden is swamped but doing fine. Justin Berk is still hyping the drought on Facebook. The comments were funny. I think we're safe from running out of water.
Edit: I see blue sky to the west!
I'm not sure how much it rain last night but it was definitely significant. It's actually pouring again right now. RIP to the year long drought. It looks like we swamp next week too.
It's been drizzling pretty hard for several hours but not showing on radar. The precip on radar west of DC looks pretty nice. It looks like a wet evening.
