  1. Back to the original forecast for a beautiful weekend hopefully. Low 60's with a breeze and blue sky sounds amazing.
  2. Nice rug pull for the weekend. Looks like rain will stay where it always rains (east of 95) and leaves the highlands dry. Sucks for drought out there but good for my weekend plans.
  3. Especially the Euro. It basically washes out the weekend. Of course I have plans so it's definitely a lock. I thought droughts were dry lol
  4. Bacon Ridge in Crownsville at 190' elevation has done better than Parrs Ridge at almost 900' elevation for the past 5 seasons. Pretty wild. I've experienced blowing snow and snow deep enough for snowshoes on Bacon Ridge the past two seasons.
  5. I don't hate Nina's at all. We seem to do relatively well in the lowlands during Nina's. The past two winters were respectable IMBY. Especially last winter.
  6. I've seen good reports of color, especially above 1500'. I'm hiking the MD section of the Appalachian trail next weekend. Color should be good in higher elevation. It will look green in the valley.
  7. I haven’t seen one up here since July. I'm always out in the bush so I'm a good meter.
  8. October is just another summer month. I can't wait until November for it to turn 50 and cloudy for 6 months lol
  9. I can't decide what we're better at. Above normal temperatures or cloudy damp weather. We excel at both. Looks like yet another gloomy day.
  10. Da fuk? Lol It looks like we're lucking out and the heat is going to stay in the Midwest this week. Looks like a nice weekend coming up. I'm hiking the MD section of the Appalachian trail.
  11. I'm happy to see some nice dry weather. The area has had plenty of rain. We have months of rainy weather incoming. Let's enjoy some sunny, low dews, fall weather. Great for hiking and checking out the fall color. I'm glad this system is headed out to sea. I can live without humid, swampy weather all week, again.
  12. It looks like nice weather next week with low dewpoints. I guess that's a good backup plan since the weather looks boring.
  13. Gfs is a snooze fest. Congrats NC. It's interesting how boring our climate is here lol. We excel at boring stuff like clouds, wind, drizzle, humidity, heat.
  14. Starting to see some sun. Hopefully a sign of some nice storms later. Now that my outdoor cannabis plants are done and I no longer care if it rains I'll loose my hot hand lol
  15. The gfs holds. It insists 94L swamps the SE while we smoke cirrus. Come on Euro!
  16. Euro looks fun. Gfs looks boring. At least we have something interesting to track!
  17. Almost fun then OTS. Let's get that further north. It's been a long time since we've had any fun weather. Definitely something to watch.
  18. I'd say 200-300 years. But who knows. Mother nature will probably throw a curve ball and we'll have ice age lol
  19. It looks like clouds and rain for the next 6 months setting in early this year lol. It started in late June here. I'm going to enjoy today before my trails turn to mud and slimy leaves again. Hopefully everything stays NW of my area.
  20. If that rain in PG county was a few miles more east it would of cost me a lot of money today. I wasn't expecting training tropical showers. Thankfully it missed my work site in Crofton. The summer of rain won't stop in the lowlands.
  21. Beautiful morning here. Drier than I expected with this east wind. I blow the moisture off my cannabis plants with my leaf blower and their was hardly any dew this morning. It's going to be a beautiful day with these scattered clouds and breeze.
  22. 1.23" here in the lowlands. That was the classic "lowland bullseye" when everyone nw freaks out while I laugh because we all know they'll jackpot anyways lol. I'm really happy to see the dryer areas max potential. It definitely wasn't needed here. My hiking trails have been muddy since the end of June.
  23. It looks like the places to the nw thought to get screwed are actually the jackpot. Reminds me of a normal winter lol. I'm glad the desert regions are getting nailed. We definitely didn't need that band over my area this morning.
  24. Pretty impressive radar depiction out there. That's one heck of a rain train headed towards the lower shore. Someone down there will see a lot of flooding rain tonight. I'd estimate almost .75 has fallen here so far. It's pouring again as I type. Looks like everyone's getting in on the rain. Crazy it dark already. Winter is coming!
  25. Pouring in the lowlands. Nothing new here. I'm guessing 1-2 over the next several days here in my area. Hopefully this thing moves along and doesn't sit for days.
