  1. Check out the 18z GFS.
  2. The last "event" was one of the biggest short term busts in recent memory. Forecast rainfall totals here before last minute adjustments as the event was unfolding: 1-1.5" Total rainfall here: 0.05" Luckily prior events performed/overperformed and got my area out of the drought. Really need a solid inch of rain now though as it has gotten pretty dry again.
  3. A couple days ago it looked like Tuesday would be a nice day, with showers coming in overnight. I planned to go hiking lol.
  4. Yeah he is 35 but doesnt look it and seems durable. That's probably why they were able to sign him to a relatively modest deal. If the rest of the rotation was intact his addition would have been much more impactful. Eflin is back- looks like he will start Sunday- and then we wait and see on Grayson(doesnt look promising) and the potential returns of Bradish and Wells sometime after the all star break. The offense must become more consistent for the team to tread water until then. They are at a critical point right now-need to stay inside of 10 under and work towards 500. Continue on this trajectory and they will be 20 under before you know it. That would pretty much be the writing on the wall.
  5. The one thing Elias got right in the offseason was signing Sugano. Dude throws 5 or 6 different pitches and has one of the filthiest splitters you will ever see.
  6. They are on pace to lose 100+ games. Still no signs of life. Someone needs to take the fall.
  7. It is past time for Hyde to go. Like seriously. Team needs a shake up and a new perspective. The pitching woes are problematic and wont be resolved unless they get some healthy arms back, but the offense is just pathetic, and it shouldn't be.
  8. My area did pretty well for a while there. Last event underperformed, but still managed 0.6" or so. Starting to get dry again, so really could have used a half inch+ from this. NW areas getting more rain now, which is needed for that area. The worm has turned lol.
  9. Bust. 1/2-3/4" forecast overnight. Reality .02" Doesnt look like much of anything for today either.
  10. Just a beautiful day here. Give me this on repeat 8 out of 10 days with some rain the other 2, for the entire summer.
  11. Only 0.62" total here. That's fine as long as it doesn't go dry for a week. Congrats to those in the moderate-severe drought area. This event at least put a significant dent in it.
  12. Did the NFL ever finish their marathon investigation? I guess the Ravens got tired of waiting and made it a "football decision".
  13. Exactly a half inch here. Good enough. Was already out of the drought, but was beginning to get dry again. Maybe another quarter inch or so over the next couple days with scattered showers.

A little premature. Don't we usually at least wait until we are all sick of the summer heat and humidity(end of June) before starting this thread?
  16. Finally raining here in the last hour. Getting some heavy downpours. 0.48" so far
  17. Yeah just a bit NW of your area. Should shift eastward with time..
  18. Nice to see the areas in the severe drought get crushed finally. Congrats!
  19. These seem like pulse t-storms. Relatively short lived single cell. The one over the city weakened and another one developed just to the NE, probably on a localized outflow boundary.
  20. That cell went right over the inner harbor.
  21. I'm guessing you meant to type 0.27? That's believable and still pretty impressive.
  22. Not ready for this warm and humid crap, but it is who we are 5+ months of the year.
  23. Well the dryness this winter and much of Spring kinda fucked me over. Skeeters are out and biting. Turns out the period where my wetland wasn't flooded but starting to get muddy and I 'dry' seeded it with larvicide, they were already breeding in the mud. Didn't rain enough to flood for another week so those tiny pellets sat there, ineffective until dissolved in water. Never a problem before because that area is usually flooded in late winter well before I put the larvicide in. I did hit it again when the area finally flooded week or so ago, so that plus the stuff already there should have halted the cycle, and hopefully the mosquitos that are out won't last long. I'll know 7-10 days lol.
  24. They have hourly forecasts too, with graphs! At the same link scroll down to where it says 'Additional forecasts and Information'
