  1. Past hour
  2. To me at least this is telling me we are slowly cooling off the WPAC with no real discernable changes in the central and EPAC with SST. Baby steps.
  3. Yea TAO has the cool pool further west and a smidge cooler. Overall though placement of warm anomalies isn't too far off from each other. This is the second weakening of trades that has occurred over the summer last was around early June so I'm curious if we start to see the westerlies that have been stuck around 90E start to wane in any shape and develop further east toward the maritime continent (120-150E). We still keep getting random bouts of a Nino like response even with the -PDO where it is and the weak cool/ neutral SST profile.
  4. Yep. We reliably get T-storms in the dead of winter, 3” snowstorms though are harder than pulling out a molar with a rusted plier. Have to go down to Norfolk now to get those. Red smoky moon again tonight. Plenty of that these days too.
  5. @Chris78 Here is an article from December that explains exactly what I mean: owners gave it to him to spend...but he seems to have a different philosophy: https://www.si.com/mlb/orioles/news/report-orioles-gm-mike-elias-unwilling-spend-against-owner-direction
  6. Iow, classic Niña with February the worst month relatively speaking. But you can count on a cool/cold spring.
  7. I'm right here not to tell ya that he's great but to tell ya you're blaming the wrong person this time. That's where we disagree. Elias, Elias, Elias! All this is his baby (Cal said a couple weeks ago that "[Elias is the architect"] His philosophy in FA is what got us here. Now...if they don't fire Elias this off-season and he screws stuff up even more...THEN that'll be on ownership--because they have the opportunity to start completely fresh.
  8. It’s closer than Edouard and that was gusts to 80-90 on the outer cape
  9. That would be nasty here now that I look at it.
  10. A strong nor'easter is 80-110mph gusts. So 50-80mph?
  11. I was hoping the SW flow later this week would push the smoke out. Maybe not if it’s way down there. lol
  12. Nothing wrong with fantasizing? Every once in awhile mother nature surprises us.
  13. also weird every other site is going up but @Damage In Tolland thinks dews are coming down now that I proved him wrong
  14. They always look so pretty on the charts but the reality of any actual impacts given a track like that usually leads to disappointment...
  15. way to edit this.. and I was looking right after you posted earlier and they were even lower.. around 66 now was 65
  16. Looks pretty much the same going forward.
