Capital One Arena last night was BUZZING with energy, such a fun atmosphere for the Sweet 16. The Johnnies fans were loud and far outnumbered Duke Fans. The arena was solidly pro Michigan State in the 2nd game. Going to the Elite 8 tomorrow and ready to root on UCONN! Let’s go Big East.

C+ The overall cold temps and prolonged snow cover was unique for this area. However, lots of wasted cold and a failure to realize the potential of the Feb nor’easter, brought down the grade for this winter. Also, plenty of potential on medium and longer range guidance did not really translate into enough real trackable events. Seeing all of the high grades in this thread makes me realize how low climo standards have become.

Ridge into the east but Wed - Fri still warm but clouds and showers muddy the potential. Beyond there overall warmer than normal but unsettled. Looming like 1 - 2 inches of rain from Wed - April 7/8th.
