THAT'S OLD. Use the time settings at the bottom of the screen. (Low is well offshore. Too far for my liking.) https://www.ventusky.com/wind-gusts-map/1-hour#p=33.20;-79.78;6&w=0xIAb9A9A -

We’re sitting at 33° right now . -
Yes, the B word! But just temporary enough to avoid a warning for it. Still holding at 8-10" on latest models IMBY

18.9. Got several hours of sleep during the slower rates. I'd guess 5" out there. Still snowing pretty well. -

Seriously. I was just up checking the temps. Still no teen. Don’t want to drip if we don’t have to. So, I peaked at the updates. -

I gotta just completely stop looking at models now and just wait and go into “now casting” because models are stressing me out haha . -

Not from the meso low as described in that post, but general ascent from the ULL itself will support a swath of snow around ATL and N&E towards daybreak as well. -

2-4 inches for Athens is a safe bet. Slightly less 20 miles west of there. -

What do you think for Athens, GA and about 20 miles west of there? Radar keeps pushing back the onset further and further. . -

While this runs just now and some last night were shown it trying to fill in, there are major issues with this model like it’s dry and not showing the snow that’s been coming down since afternoon. This is consistent. I’m really not sure, other than the rgem, people are using. The latest nam is a screw job too as a whole. -

Just from the ULL for there. North Georgia will still see snow (2-4 inches with a little over 5 inches near the SC and NC border) but the band of heavier snow (6+ inches) will be from Greenville southeast to Greenwood and east/northeast bound from there. The further east and northeast you go the more snow you will see with Charlotte being the bullseye. This map below from GSP shows the cut off really well between the yellow and dark blue: -

Starting to get a little nervous. HRRR keeps pushing back the onset. Was supposed to be between 7-8 this morning and now it’s showing not until around 10-11. Has the heaviest snow in the early afternoon now. . -

A meso-low will form as the ULL moves in and tilts. A heavy band of snow will form north of this meso-low from GSP up to CLT and down to CAE. Expect things to ramp up over the Upstate starting around sunrise. Anything before then is just a bonus. -
