Garden variety here. Better to the NW.
-
It feels great out tonight. At the Senators’ game and the humidity is currently MIA.
-
2.88" in the stratus. Went ahead and emptied it to see how off my PWS is. Reading about 10% higher than true value. Usually it's only around 5% higher, but I think the rates frazzled the poor thing.
-
Minus 20 dbz or so. Lol Edit: tried to include HRRR sim radar but failed.
-
Foggy this morning on the Bush River as well. There was a little storm in the vicinity 3-4 pm, to the southeast. Nada here. 7.5-8" rain in May per nearby PWSs.

I’m in the parking lot of the package store and afraid to get out
-
Nice. Didn't see that.
-
HOLY SHIT. super close CG strike…heard to instant booms right after, sounded like bombs went off.
-
I spent $0 on gas. Didn’t even go 1/2 tank
-
Cell near BAF had G51kts and over 1” hail though. That’s a good one.

Central PA Summer 2025
Mount Joy Snowman replied to Voyager's topic in Upstate New York/Pennsylvania
Looks like just under a tenth of an inch. Official tally in the morning. Certainly felt like more from my home office window but that’s how it goes sometimes. -
That last bit that came through the southern portions of the pioneer valley was totally garden variety.
-
Just think if you had just stayed home . Would have seen severe and saved $75 on gas
-
You could’ve just stayed home save 50 bucks and see the same thing
-
Not like this lol

Back in Springfield now. What a day…what a beautiful, fantastic, AWT type of day. This worked out to a T…perfectly. Saw so much lightning and thunder, drove through some of the most intense rain I’ve ever driven through (even had some strong winds)…totally forgot where we were at. But had to pull into a shopping plaza lot. Now getting more rain and lightning!!!
-
Lol. That's actually pretty crazy. It's been feast or (mostly) famine here for a while.

It will turn somewhat cooler with high temperatures returning to the upper 70s tomorrow and then middle 70s Sunday and Monday. Showers and thundershowers are possible tomorrow. Rainfall amounts should generally be light except where scattered locations see heavier thunderstorms. By the middle of the week, it will turn warmer with temperatures again rising into the 80s. The ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly was +0.8°C and the Region 3.4 anomaly was -0.1°C for the week centered around May 28. For the past six weeks, the ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly has averaged +0.17°C and the ENSO Region 3.4 anomaly has averaged -0.07°C. Neutral ENSO conditions will likely continue through at least mid summer. The SOI was -1.13 today. The preliminary Arctic Oscillation (AO) was +1.967 today.

We do this again tomorrow?

It's funny. Since the summer of 2023 I've had three months where I measured 7 or more inches of rain in a month (September 2023, August 2024 and May 2025)…. You of all posters beat my monthly rainfall totals for every one of those 3 months!

I’m just letting them suck the lyme back out of me at this point.

Hopefully with CC we are attracting more aggressive species from Florida
