Sunday had a rainy late afternoon and evening, but it was very light. It’s still raining. Total measured only ~0.1”, which gets me to a MTD of ~2.2”.

I don’t want to wade into the Canadian vs. USA maple syrup debate, but isn’t this week similar to a 6.9/7 for production (or reduction, as its Fall) ?

I know. I’m skeptical we ever see anything if high pressure builds in and buries that potential system south. 1899 is one of the all time greats in U.S. history imo.

^ meh, September-early October snow cover being anemic is not new as of late. GEFS suggests extent picks up the pace soon. Snow cover to the SE of the Hudson would be several weeks ahead of schedule.

Made the trip to Skybridge, Kinzua Bridge State Park this afternoon. The foliage in this part of the state has been probably the best I've seen in a long time.
