all joking aside, that’s a problem with these more recent runs starting with the 18z Euro. The H5 trough isn’t deepening as further south as earlier runs.

Without snow cover we won't get terribly cold. So there's that.

It’s going to suck with those temps & nothing to show for them if it happens. Dry & extreme cold, hard pass. I like cold but not brutally cold wo snow on the ground.

I swear the pre-2018 Euro version was better than any model now, including the current Euro.

The energy was futher west on the icon so it was better for us. Then it hammers the PV our way and we get high ratio snow showers. The GFS has folded to the Euro on wave one and wave two looks like it's gonna be weak as well.

Thursday the 8th, the 12z run 180hrs panel of the Icon gave us a snowstorm. This is just where we wantvit if we want snow in 180 hours. Lol

ICON is out to lunch. The GFS is kneeling to the Euro. There will be some snow showers & flurries. Outside of higher elevations it’s a nothing burger. I agree with John, give me warmer temps instead of high heating bills.

I don't think it's game set match just yet. It's not unprecedented for a 3 or 4 day model head fake. But we'd really have to pull a rabbit out of our hats at this point. If this plays out close to the 0z GFS, I think it was a great job by the AI models. They showed this weird, disjointed surface setup for days and hardly wavered.

Well GFS H5 is different vs 18z. It's like roulette these days

So we realized at least two things today. The Eagles will have some major changes related to the offense and believing the models are sniffing out the "big ones" in advance sure does seem like a thing of the past.
