    Following heavy morning thunderstorms, the afternoon turned partly sunny and pleasantly warm. Photographers came out to the New York Botanical Garden to capture the flowers. Four photos from today:

    Have lost 1.5 hrs of sunlight since the solstice. A few more weeks till the equinox, can’t wait !

    Well I had round 1 of rain between 4 am - 5 am and am now getting a quick round 2 from a cell that I had been watching for a couple hours.. So far have an additional 0.09" for 0.98" for the day at post time. Will probably cross 1" shortly. After a low of64, made it up to 81 and am currently down to 65 with dp 61.

    It was in the nws forecast discussion, and SPC had a good chunk of the area highlighted for marginal risk of severe thunderstorms today for the past several days and had all of pennsylvania included in the thunderstorm outlook, other than that, I never heard it mentioned either. I actually had two thunderstorms here today, about two hours apart.

    This was.an interesting read and brings two questions to my mind. First, what AI are you using and did you air gap it? Have you found it difficult to maintain? Second, have you found anything significant with respect to short term snowfall forecasting?
