Southern storm tracks will increase probably this winter...if you are in the foothills and mountains especially...it could get fun. I bet we score once east too. Fingers crossed!

The last mega El-Nino was rain.  I expect the same 97-98.

Radar estimates probably way over done in southern Wake. I might have got 0.30...but it's showing 1 to 1.5...it has really cooled down though. Fall is here!

No, it's actually surprisingly accurate.  Strong La-Nina years are good for south east snow, like the last two years.  Stong El-Nino years are good for north east snow.

It did bring the MTD total over two inches, 2.01”

A very disappointing 0.04" after 0.15" overnight.  Two day total of 0.42".  Not horrible but frustrating when downtown had had 2+.

Picked up .04" today. Just missed a heavy downpour by about a mile. 18 days now without significant rain.

Per radar estimate I am around 0.30...most of that had to have been yesterday evening

I was thinking the same thing that big time underperformer here once again by what everything was showing us. It sucks big time.

So far today it hasn't been to bad but currently have .24" in the gauge.
