Unfortunately.  Dont want more of that. Finally balanced the chemicals in the pool and got it clear again from those torrential rains a few days ago

yeah everything is a mess here-swimming pools, mulch washed out-golf courses all wet.  Been a nightmare month in that regard.  Do like my lawn looking something out of Ireland

We needed what happened over the last month to pull out of the drought. Glad it happened even though it wasn't nice weather at times.

Precip is light here in Central NJ - its drying up as it moves north - but making the atmosphere much more humid Heat Advisories and T -storms next couple of days at least - sounds like fun.

SPC and Upton and Mount Holly really dropped the ball this go around by not issuing Flood Watches this morning already several warnings in south NJ and now in Central NJ Torrential downpour developed out of nowhere

downpour is just sitting over northeast Middlesex and southern Union county heaviest right over Parkway

Colorado State University’s updated 2026 Atlantic hurricane forecast continues to call for a well below average season. But as the researchers note, it takes only one storm near a community to make it an active season there.

CSU’s updated full season forecast calls for nine named storms, including four hurricanes and one major hurricane. Two named storms, Arthur and Bertha, have already formed, and neither became a hurricane.

For the remainder of the season, CSU forecasts seven additional named storms, four of which are expected to become hurricanes, including one major hurricane.

Town Hall in Woodbridge NJ accumulated around 1 inch rain from this afternoon's torrential downpour Levittown PA west of Trenton received over 2 inches from theirs

Three rounds of storms today here in Philadelphia. Some with blinding rain. Somehow still made it to a high temperature of 85°. Dew point at PHL topped out at 79 late this afternoon… Key West anyone?

P.S. Since we’ve had so much severe weather along with flooding rains over the last couple of weeks I thought I’d mention I watched the documentary on Netflix about the Joplin, Missouri tornado from May 2011. I highly recommend! It was extremely moving. It’s amazing… how it sparked so many flashbacks to being a child growing up in the Midwest. The sirens… still enough to provoke chills in this 50 something adult.
