Bears are the most shy animals out there. I hiked into one two days ago. Thing just stared at me and then seemed embarrassed I was looking at him and turned away… walked down the path a bit and looked back again, then fled. I would 100% run into a black bear out of most other things. Moose are the mean motherf*ckers who will stand off with you.
