100/77/117. Down slope effect kicked in good over the last hour. That should be the peak I would think. W wind 5-10.

96 with more humidity than yesterday.  Glad it's over.  Upper 70's-low 80's the rest of the week.
Cue the smoke.

Much like the last heatwave, temp somewhat underperformed here. DTW hit 94, the NWS forecast was 99.

94 today. Surprised how acclimated I’ve become, but I guess the same thing happens in winter.

88 yesterday and 91 today. Dews around 70 today. Not as bad as last week, but also, getting more acclimated to the heat/humidity.

Peaked at 93° at ORD and 92° at MDW yesterday.

Both ORD and MDW topped out at 96° today.

Official record at the co-op doesn't have a 100 reading since 1894, and only 3 99's. This was met at a PWS a couple blocks from my house, so it will not be an official record. I hit 100 at my house once in the mid 90's that I recall. It is rare to be sure to see 100's in NE MN. At DLH, 3 100's were recorded in the 1936 heatwave. 

It really takes special circumstances to get 100 here. Even hitting 95 is a chore.

Last night, and again tonight in my house, it reached 85. Will be opening windows very soon  

This was an impressive heatwave! (and glad it's ending)

The all-time warmest low temperature was set at our office today in Negaunee Township at 76°F. This breaks the previous record warm low of 74°F set in July of 2002. Records for our office date back to 1959 with an observational period of midnight to midnight EST (1 AM to 1 AM EDT).

What makes this record exceptional is that it happens to be the same value as the 30-year normal high temperature for this time of year.
