Ughhh. Just took out our pup to do her business. Currently at 2:30 it is 96/82 for real feel of 120. And it feels every bit of that in the shade. Even worse out in the sun.

Same at my house, 102.1 was as high as we got. Thought we were gonna stay under 100 but clouds broke and it baked last 3 hours

Looks like 103 at 15:33 today on the daily climo report

 

My PWS got to 105.5 but more like 102/103 and that was at 16:04

 

Why did I pick today to work on the garage. I am so disgusting like it is outside.

Finally got below 100 at 6:40pm and below 90 at 10:15pm.

At least the radar is lighting up like a christmas tree this afternoon close to us all here in central NC. Hopefully the cloud cover in spots will help hold the hotter temps down some.

There is one pop up storm near Durham just west of Falls Lake but yeah it would be nice to get something. Could be some pulse severe with DCAPE values being quite high and no shear.
