Yardstickgozinya Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM I was hearing more strikes on AM Radio frequencys then the lightning detection network was picking up. I'm not speaking for home lightning detectors, I know nothing about them.

canderson Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:20 AM Light to mod rain for us on the drive up 83 to home just now. The fog just S of the border was scary thick though - couldn’t see lights from the cars on the opposite side of 83.
Voyager Posted yesterday at 10:45 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 10:45 AM Alright, so when the hell do we see the warmth on this side of the state? Forecast yesterday evening said temps rising into the 50's overnight. Still sitting at 43.

I like the warmth, don't need the humidity. I do like mornings in the 70's, but in reality, the best temps are highs in the low to mid 80's. CarlislePaWx Posted yesterday at 02:46 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:46 PM All it took was just a little bit of sunshine...which is the first in 4 days!...and I'm off to the races up to 65 degrees and climbing. It really does feel great outside. As long as there is sunshine I almost don't care what the temperature is. It's still early March so we shouldn't be expecting temps in the 70s. My normal high for today is only 46.9 degrees while my normal low is 26.4 degrees. The normal low temperature doesn't rise to freezing until March 27th. It’s too soon to pin down a specific threat, but we should have a chance or two with plenty of cold around. For example, the 12z Canadian shows how it could bring a snow chance next week. Blizzard of 93
It’s the ensembles that are talking about potential to shovel next week, across the board. These would be healthy 7 day totals in mid Winter. So for mid March, this is a healthy signal.

Blizzard of 93
I would pay some real money to see the 18z GFS verify, heck even half of it would be awesome. Here is the full run 18z run snow through day 16, just for fun of course…
Blizzard of 93
The best part about this 18z GFS run is that it joined the other globals by showing a chance around St. Patty’s Day. Snow is for that 3 day period.
