John1122 Posted January 25 Share Posted January 25 The horseshoe effect that shows up in East Tennessee at times, is also reflected by an even larger horseshoe at times like this. It's going to be much colder to our southwest, west, southeast and east by tomorrow morning. It's crazy how often systems cut in our area vs up the other side of the mountains. John1122 Posted January 25 Share Posted January 25 There wasn't nearly as much sleet as most models predicted, which is why I've gotten so much freezing rain. Especially crazy sleet totals the Canadian with some of its wonky runs. It got the idea of the mix storm first, but had too much sleet. Fire is back up and rippin, and it’s back up to 65 inside. Goal is 70. outside - been misting ice and light sleet back and forth for many hours. Seemingly many to go. Still have power but it doesn’t seem feasible that power stays on like this much longer but I’m happy for every second it stays.
