The HRRR not on board. But it still isn’t initializing correctly and starts out showing no snow in State of NC.

The regular NAM (whatever the hell it is) show more moisture on the ground currently when it initializes and has held steady with 10” max in Wake Co. I think that’s a stretch but it’s a sign.

Yeah not as much as NAM, but last 3 runs of HRRR have been increasing a bit each run. 
 

11z: ~1 inch for Wake

12z: ~1.5 inch for Wake

13z: ~2 inch for Wake

Even if we manage a few, and it ends up more than we typically have in a given storm, this is a lost opportunity. My kids are 10 and almost-8. I would love for them to have that one big one in the core of their childhood that they remember forever.

And the chances are slipping away. In the grand scheme, it's a relatively small hardship. But it's still a bummer.

You do realize the storm is just getting started for your area?? Sure if you are in western GA it's over, but it's really only getting it's act together.

Already an inch and counting here in NE GA, 20 miles west of Athens. Extremely heavy banding set up over us and caused a whiteout for a while. Still supposed to get some more convection bands this afternoon too.

It’s been blowing the entire time, so roadways and grass don’t look it, but yes we have an inch where I’m at right now and counting. Wind gusts are 20 mph right now and it’s blowing all the snow all over

It’s not coming this way. The ULL responsible for the over performance west of here is going through SC as it rotates into coastal. It’s going to over perform in Columbia. Legitimately believe some folks in triangle might not see accumulating snow

The ducks on the pond are definitely swimming around the triangle.  Pretty much overperforming everywhere else.  Simply amazing, and sucks for ya'll in the screw zone.
