Brick Tamland
I think the ICON is an outlier with how warm it was.
SnowDawg
Have to cheer against that phasing out west. Would be our luck…everything for years struggles to phase, then when we actually need more strung out it gets phased and amped up. It’s always the stupid GFS with the good solution…

JoshM
I wouldn't even want to see the freezing rain/sleet maps. I've seen amounts of 2"+ QPF
jpbart
Lurking here from Columbia SC. This ice storm scenario worries me. Might have to buy a generator to mitigate stress.

wncsnow
It wasn't that bad of a run honestly. Well within the possible range of outcomes.

I just don’t want to believe that can verify. I would have to look but I know here 1973 was a legendary ice storm in Atlanta. I think it was something like 3/4 to 1" of ice. My parents talk about it all the time.

BooneWX
Nutty thing about that icon run: more amped, but also a deeper cad. Some would get biblical sleet accumulation.
