Euro has a bomb just off shore for storm 2. Yea I don’t get worrying about any surface output at this point. At 500mb we’re very close to something memorable and large with both storms. I’d be worried if clown maps were pasting me this many days out.

Only one piece of energy is on land right now and even that piece is over Alaska. . The shortwave divebombing in from east central Canada/ through Minnesota at hour 84-96 needs to phase with the plains shortwave.GFS does this,Euro doesn't.And everything a tad more west.
BornAgain13
The 12z EURO, although didnt get it done, did trend towards the GFS. Will this continue at 18z/0z? We will soon see.

SnowDawg
Can’t complain at all about the look on the 2nd one but it is so close to something even bigger. That energy over Baja stretches the southern shortwave a little flat and dampens it just as it’s getting going, then the coastal picks up on the east coast. Keep that energy more consolidated and maybe get a full fledged closed low in the gulf.

WNC_Fort
I know we all want a big storm (myself included) but I’d take a 3-5 inch event in a heartbeat. At the same time…you can see the potential is there for WNC/Foothills for a bigger event too.

I consider anything that completely buries the grass blades to be major around here. With that said, I’m not above mowing the day before because I’m a real sicko.
