Ahoff
I mean, except for that dry slot in Ohio, there's heavy returns still back in Indiana. But I guess the transfer is happening.

CoraopolisWx
4 minutes ago, SteelCity87 said: Looks like this is going to wrap a good bit sooner than forecasted just by looking at the radar. Going to be a close call on the 12" Was out earlier around 130 here in Mt Lebanon, and measured 7.5-8” in a few open areas. So with that back side energy coming through Indiana, an official NWS storm total of at least 12” looks doable.

Burghblizz
Will be fun to see what happens with this last leg. Hopefully that hole closes in and those heavier returns get here. Think of it as it’s own 2-4” storm. Let’s see if we can maximize it.

MikeB_01
Just checking in on the radar out of wilmington (oh). The snow out in the west parts of ohio has some pretty decent returns. Modeling continues to show that this will continue to move our way.

jwilson
I measured another 3" since noon, which includes the half inch I got while shoveling. Rates were back up over an inch an hour, but the dryslot looms until the upper level trough passes through later. That's somewhere between 7.5" and 12" total. We might be able to manage a foot if the backside lasts long enough. Haven't hit that mark since December of 2020.

colonel717
Looking at models it looks like we are in a snow lull for a while then the clipper train looks to start again. My brother lives if n northern Delaware and he was only supposed to get 6+8 inches of snow and got at least a foot. Kinda weird that we many under perform a little. Getting ready to go back out and shovel after taking a nap.

Still got a few inches on the table I think.

Wouldn't the upper air be colder after the low transfers?
