29F here at 890 mb near Bearwallow Mtn ...ZL, light glaze. Looks like it is 26F at Bearwallow Econet at 870mb.

Light-moderate zr continues here. 31 degrees with about .1-15 ice on every surface. Even my gravel driveway is treacherous.

Drove up Old Fort mountain this morning no issues. Unofficially my car never got below 34 from Old Fort to the AVL airport.

29 degrees up here on top of Beech with the balcony covered and parking lot now white.  Very nice!  Hope we are able to see some heavier stuff later this week.

...ICY ROADS AND FREEZING FOG POSSIBLE THROUGH WEDNESDAY

MORNING...

 

Very light snow should taper off along the North Carolina and

Tennessee border tonight. Northwest winds should persist and

temperatures are expected to fall into the mid 20s overnight. This

is likely to cause a concern for icy road conditions and freezing

fog for most of the area, especially at locations above 3500

feet. Use caution if driving and give yourself extra time to

commute in the morning.

26 degrees and flurries.  I missed when it was snowing more to cover the deck lightly.  Cold out and fire built.

Enough to coat the deck here this evening. Nice surprise I didn't expect enough moisture to overcome our downsloping.

Hoping the Euro is right for the weekend, could turn out pretty good for the northern mountains.
