We finally get a taste of Fall out here today through Sunday. Low to mid 40’s here in town the next two nights, highs around 70. Then the average to above average temps into the low to mid 80’s return. 50’s in the mornings with no humidity is great though for average!

Maggie Valley Steve
Woke up at 4:30 this morning and it was 58. No rain at the house today and I had a high of 74. Lots of Bikers in town which is a good thing for our Valley. Folks are slowly coming back after almost a year for the Helene Anniversary.
Met1985
Had a low of 54 and a high of 78. Current temp is 70. Saw a high reading today in Asheville of 88 degrees. Tyler Penland
43/68 here today. Beautiful. Anybody else getting extra anxious every time the models spit out a gulf hurricane this year? I know any given run is unlikely, but I'm way more nervous than I've ever been.

I went through the eyewall of Hugo in Sumter, SC when I was 9. Neither one traumatized me like Helene. I'm rebuilding a house on the Nolichucky next to a memorial for an entire family. I hope we never experience anything like Helene again. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
