I have normal central a/c but I also got one of those nice Mitsubishi room air-conditioning units for my bedroom. I have it on a timer so it's a perfect 61 degrees the minute I open my door. I have never slept so well in years. The quality of my sleep is so much better according to my sleep app as long as the room temperature is maintained between 57-64 degrees Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk We are redoing our house in Texas that doesn’t have any good ductwork and putting these in. People think I'm nuts for how cold I keep it, but nothing keeps me from sleeping well like heat. Many years ago when I lived in an apartment without ac I used to buy a bag of ice each night to soak a bed sheet in ice water, place it over me with an industrial fan on highSent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk

But it just keeps raining and it sure seems like we're not done yet this week... Yeah its sorta fun to watch, and at least gives pause to the "heres our new climate - scorched earth" kinda chatter. In the end that may be correct, but right now not the case.
ChescoWx
As seems to always be the case in this pattern showers are again likely later today into this evening. Today and tomorrow look like our warmest days...with some spots especially tomorrow possibly touching 90 degrees for the first time here in the month of July. The NWS has issued a heat advisory for tomorrow afternoon. We then turn a bit cooler with high temperatures maybe a couple of degrees below normal, starting Friday and through the weekend with highs in the low 80's. Highest rain chances after this evening look to be Saturday night into Sunday.
