Waiting for more info on it though. Hopefully clouds won’t ruin it. I believe that flare would hit Wednesday or Thursday night while the one tonight is seperate

NorthArlington101
My aurora chat is popping off and they (not experts... hobbyists) are leaning tomorrow night. They are very excited... G4/G5. Gonna make a plan to get out in the boonies.

Would take a pretty strong signal in the next 2 hours to get me outside - don’t think these precursor CMEs were supposed to be too special. Probably see something from SNP. Think the hope is these destabilize the magnetosphere a bit and the one tomorrow pops off. Hopefully an added benefit of extended darkness is that we’ve got a larger window and can worry about timing a little less. Fingers crossed.

NorthArlington101
Looks pretty impressive. Might’ve lied and may go out tonight. First impact should be in ~30m. If we can see it very locally… game on.
