north pgh Posted April 18 Share Posted April 18 Gusted to over 50 mph here. Did not lose power however I heard some transformers blowing in the distance. Some lightning and thunder now after the line has gone through but the pre frontal winds were the worst. Sounds like power lines are down in the area. Pretty calm now. jwilson Posted April 18 Share Posted April 18 1 for 6 on severe threats thus far. Aside from the other night when it was raining ice cubes, not much to speak of during these events, locally. Mostly outflow winds. There was definitely a tornado in eastern Ohio last night, however. Evident on radar and supposedly there was a brief video. I fear we're going to fall pretty dramatically over the next few days. Look at all these recent years in the top 8 though! And people will still make up nonsense about how spring is always cool. Rain seems to be done for today and we still need 0.19” to set that record. So one more shot at this.
