Hoping this keeps producing lightning.  I'm at a concert in Camden and have a great view.

I'm imagining it has! Been a real nice storm here, with a few pretty close strikes (<.05 miles), and then more laid back cloud lightning with some nice spread out lightning bolts and the long rumbling on thunder afterwards. Picked up 0.75" of rain, mostly at the beginning, still a light steady rain with some lightning and thunder. An enjoyable way to spend a Friday evening on the porch!

Looks like it blew up after passing us, great light show off to the south. But it did drop my temp down to 76F.

Yeah, all cool.

I just realized today I'm mowing 2/week (Every 5 days) like early Spring...strange for early/late July/Aug where certain parts are a brittle/hay stack.

Well this round had an incredible light show (still going) but the radar had more bark than bite and I ended up with 0.12" in the bucket.  However I'll take it.  Temp down to 75 with dp 74.

ETA - as soon as I posted, some of the darker greens started moving in and I'm getting a little light rain. Picked up another hundredth ad am at 0.13".  I could use some more of that just cool the plants down.

Wound up with 0.90 inches of rain here. Too bad about the concert ^^... did you see some lightning at least, lol?

Some.   It mostly stayed in the clouds, though.   Got soaked, however.  lol

Most spots exceeded the 90 degree mark yesterday across Chesco...exceptions being KMQS Coatesville Airport and of course here in East Nantmeal where 86.8 was the best we could do. My Ambient model station only made it to 86.2 (although my rooftop station did hit 90.9). It appears most spots will not hit 90 degrees today. In fact looking ahead it appears yesterday may have been our last 90 degree day for the summer. It looks like here in East Nantmeal we will fail to have reached 90 degrees in summer for the first time since 2015 and for the 4th time in the last 20 years! The other years we failed to touch 90 degrees were 2004, and 2014. More thunderstorms are possible tonight as sharp cold front approaches and moves through the County. Some incredibly comfortable weather moves in this week with most days featuring highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's - a chance to give the AC a break!!
Records for today: High 101 (1901) / Low 47 (1956) / Rain 2.48" (1976)
