Agree that trading McCain was a bad mistake.  And sure, trade Embiid if you can but probably only Nico Harrison would have even entertained it and he's manning a wendy's drivethru somewhere now

I agree about McCain. He would have been perfect for the next rebuild/retool. 

Only reason I said about trading Maxey was that this team reminds me a lot of the late 2000, early 2010 teams. Had talent but could never get to the next level for years. Then Hinke came in, blew everything up and started over.  Which in general sucked as well as they had years of top 5 picks and only Embiid to show for it.
