...TORNADO EMERGENCY FOR ALEXANDRIA AND PINEVILLE...

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 PM CST FOR
NORTHEASTERN RAPIDES PARISH...

At 1249 PM CST, a confirmed large and destructive tornado was located
over Alexandria International Airport, moving northeast at 25 mph.

TORNADO EMERGENCY for ALEXANDRIA AND PINEVILLE. This is a
PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Deadly tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
         be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
         will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
         businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
         is possible.

The tornado will be near...
  Pineville around 100 PM CST.
  Tioga, Kingsville and Timber Trails around 105 PM CST.
  Ball and Paradise around 110 PM CST.
  Esler Regional Airport and Libuse around 115 PM CST.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a large, extremely dangerous, and potentially deadly
tornado is on the ground. To protect your life, TAKE COVER NOW! Move
to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid
windows. If in a mobile home, a vehicle or outdoors, move to the
closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

CC drop isn’t as pronounced as before, but it’s still there on the loop. Tornado might not have been as intense when it tracked into the city, but it was definitely still there.

Storm to the north of the Columbia cell heading towards Mount Olive has a hell of a velocity signature, and has had one for several scans. Radar reflectivity has that classic look too. Very good chance there’s a strong tornado in progress with that cell.

Potential tornado over a part of northern Alabama with a notorious history, northwestern Madison County, near Harvest. Confirmed tornado from this storm earlier over Tanner, another notorious community.
