The good news is that even if that busts and only 50% verifies, we all get a good soaking.   Big leaf drop in progress here.  Outside of the 8/11 deluge, we've had close to nothing here since late July.

I wouldn't be expecting more than 1" + with locally higher amounts. These are very tough to predict and most of the rain will probably fall in a very narrow axis. It should be hauling as well. It's a good soaking, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't have as much upside as Sunday does.

Models are closing off the 500mb low over Ohio instead of West Virginia, we need the trough to dig further South in order to drive that surface development well South instead of off the NJ coast.

This is the Sunday event I assume?  What happens if the low is off the NJ coast versus further south?  Would think more rain if it's further north no?
