Joe the Bastardi likes a storm going along that artic front and dumping us with some snow here in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

So it's going to be 75 on Sunday.

I would be ecstatic if that were true!!! Anyway, State College is saying 1-2 inches tomorrow afternoon/evening for Tamaqua.

I'll take my 1-3 flakes and run.

Late night Euro trolling as it increases confluence throughout the Davis Straits region.

Got a wave train just offshore.

Needless to say New England looks better than us, but perhaps the snow gods will make a mistake and accidently pencil us in for a decent event.

i could see us getting a coating up to an inch Wednesday.

New blog posted... http://www.wundergro...ml?entrynum=220. Looks likely for a widespread 1-3in across the entire Lower Susquehanna Valley. Laurel Highlands possibly 2-4in. A few 1in amounts are possible as far north as State College.

very nice... just wanted to point out they changed the great lakes surface map to a .png file now in 2012 instead of .gif like it used to be

You guys realize that the unthawed ground will eat half of that up before it accumulates. So we're looking at an inch southern tier...maybe half inch in State College???

:lmao::facepalm:

There are countless......countless.....examples of snow accumulating just fine after temps in the 60s. Yes, it can be a factor sometimes. But it's not a dealbreaker.

Besides.....here the top layer of ground will be frozen with lows in the mid-20s and highs in the low 30s.
