    Checking my logs there was some snow in the area on the 8th and the 18th but it wasn’t much in Arlington or Charlottesville. Maybe one of those two?

    Fair enough. Not that it happens this way, but a lot of this forum just needs precip to move in a few hours earlier. Ground temps are already frigid. All I'm saying is its trackable.

    Looking through the models almost all of them have a 2" event for the favored spots... most get close to 1" in Baltimore.... surprised this place isn't hopping more. Shows how done we are with winter, I guess. Anyways, here is the RGEM as well.

    The GFS sucks but you have to appreciate it's commitment to the bit. It wants LWX to issue ISWs, lol. Para is more reasonable but very likely also wrong.

    Slightly over an inch of sleet. Didn’t even get the full sleet bomb experience. Would’ve liked two.

    I’ve got class so I couldn’t stay up all night but it looks like we had maybe a trace-.5” of snow and right now it’s just dumping sleet in CHO.

    HRRR throwing out a very rate dependent look. Pretty much says anyone DC south will start as sleet and flip between as rates improve/diminish. Some hilarious weenie panels in the run regardless. Really seems to have trouble with the 1hr snowfall rate when sleet is thrown in the mix.

    HRRR nailed the storm last Thursday in this area FWIW. Was the first thing advertising 4-6". I like having it on our side in the short-range, it's done really well this winter as far as I can recall.

    .8" of QPF that is all happening below 32? sign me up. I'd like more but if that's the low-end amount I think we should all be okay.

    fair enough, but the extra 1" over 20 hours in DC doesn't make me jump with joy, especially since I'm down there in CHO. It does make the map look nicer though and gets JI closer to not having Loudoun County single moms and teachers burning a Ji effigy

    Yikes hope you didn't promise the teachers too much snow. Pretty similar run overall, as others said maybe a step towards the longer storm the CMC/RGEM show. I'd take it but my expectations are slightly higher, not gonna lie.
