    Southern edge of the line looks better than what D.C. proper/Beltway seems to be in line for, but I'll never scoff at anything interesting. Gimmie some thunder!

    Guessing the DC folks are waiting for the line forming west of Charlottesville unless something happens to pop in front of it. Got about 30 minutes of sun here, hoping for the best. If everyone is sharing when they want the lifeguards to blow their whistles... I’d like them to call it around 6:00!

    It’s obvious in retrospect, but having walked around quite a bit today the cicadas are a lot more present in less renovated neighborhoods. Lots of fully redone properties around here.

    Amazing the difference two blocks can make. Goes from a few outside my house to them jumping on me and all over the sidewalk and fences.

    Local businesses will do what they do and I will fully support that, but looks like Virginia is speeding along. I’ll need to ease myself back into the world for sure, but it’s a relief to see.

    Well, there it (likely) is. That step would essentially mark the end of this, IMO. Kinda crazy.

    Without knowing the details of the situation, its very possible that these players would’ve just thought they had allergies if not for the daily testing I’m assuming they are still going under. If they all got J&J (which it seems like they did) it’s not crazy that an outbreak in the clubhouse could still happen. The difference being that a post-vax outbreak is a nuisance while a pre-vax outbreak is more dangerous.

    I topped off the tank today, felt like a sucker because I know the shortage isn’t real, it’s a panic-inspired shortage and I contributed to it. That said, going down to the beach with some friends after finals end, and gas looks problematic the whole way down. Need every gallon we can get.
