  1. For what it’s worth, some of the mesos had favored spots starting as sleet and then flipping by to snow with better rates. But maybe we can retire colder ground temps mattering… as well as snow in Arkansas. And never look at the RGEM again
  2. What are you gonna do with your 0”? I think I’m gonna watch the Steelers and Ravens play
  3. 3k is the best run for central MD in a long time. Won’t help me - but maybe best widespread forum run in a day.
  4. Congrats on more ice for those beating their temperature estimates. 36/25 in urban hell near Union Station. Plan is to wake up in the morning and decide if it’s worth driving somewhere. Best of luck to everyone other than Boston
  5. Those pools always triggered my asthma. Thankfully, it was relatively minor. Can’t imagine actually having a real lung problem.
  6. https://x.com/seckhardt/status/1742514474207043737?s=46&t=YRAxGyE8QLsoshMtJniktg At least it’s not only us that gets tricked
  7. RGEM has a well-known highly incorrect bias unfortunately. But even a broke clock is twice a day, or whatever
  8. But does it always snow in Louisiana?
  9. tell that to the RGEM /s wait... are you telling me maybe we shouldn't trust it?
  10. Really? I'm not sure it got that warm in Downtown D.C. today
  11. Best news I've heard today. Barely nudges out Little Rock seeing snow.
  12. a good southeast shift on the RGEM and nobody bothered to post it? smh
  13. 3 blocks away from my family house… maybe I’ll have to chase at the neighbors
  14. We're about 2 days away from being teased for 2 days before it slips away and gives Winchester 2" of snow and Boston 2' of snow
  15. pretty big shift from 06z -> 12z. Will be nice to see snow in the subforum somewhere.
  16. I feel like Arkansas battling the rain/snow line has little correlation to what’s causing us to flip to sleet/rain tomorrow but I guess I’ll take any optimism. It is nice to see people locally be colder than forecast. Maybe a little chillier than expected in and around the Beltway. Haven’t breached 40 yet.
  17. I didn't realize 3-6 inches was WSW criteria. I guess as long as it could exceed 5"+?
  18. RRFS is our best bet... and that may be the first time it's been mentioned on this forum in relation to an event. I believe it's essentially the updated HRRR... so worse things to have on your side. It's at least a #sleetbomb as opposed to rain.
  19. I assume any hope of this basically evaporated last night
  20. He asked me to read to the end? With my limited attention span? Big ask
  21. I think this is basically Tomer promising a DC/VA snowstorm? https://x.com/burgwx/status/1743122848648958012?s=46&t=YRAxGyE8QLsoshMtJniktg
  22. They good at clearing the roads in Winchester? If consensus shifts toward 6”+, I might head out that way
