    Media 35 dewpoint 16 increasing clouds snow knocking on the doorstep to our west moving east. I’d expect flurries light snow here in 25 minutes or so maybe a dusting to 0.3”

    Got down to 6.9 degrees this morning here in Media, Delaware County coldest morning of the year and it was done with no snowpack. Imagine what the lows would have been with the snowpack.

    Lately after say 2009 and 2010 blocking during the winter months from what I can remember has not really materialized. However, I feel like we have seen more blocking during the later spring, summer, and early fall months during our warmer times. Without decent blocking I am not super excited for the rest of January, but still holding out hope for a coastal runner at months end as the ridge axis out west looks great at times.

    Not at all lol a little surprised that the Gfs was the worst. My expectations were met I saw it snowing for 20 minutes.

    I just want to say the models with this were pathetic!!! All rain here until the first wet flakes mixed in at 8:30 am it snowed here for about half hour. We have zero here in Media Delaware County cloudy breezy 35

    Remember always go with and post the least snow solution! Yes go with 1-2” of snow followed by 1-2” of rain Thunder and temps rising into the mid to upper 40s then crash back down to 20 typical storm DCA Balt to PHL NYC

    Next Tomorrow NOAA will say they dropped the remaining 42 weather balloons in the eastern Pacific so modeling will become more reliable going forward our bad on the 0z model suite throw them out real deal starts at 12z runs Wednesday.

    That’s hilarious in an hour it will be Cincy to Cleveland and then they will say someone is going to get clobbered in the east! Can’t go wrong.
