  1. ....well if only NHDOT would pay attention to weather forecasts they may be able to prepare the roads for impending winter weather...
  2. Next storm the Merrimack Valley forum members are going to take up a collection to raise money to send you to the South Shore !!
  3. If you had gone into work the band would have shifted north and then settled right over methuen...Chelsea would have had 1-2...

  5. 6 in Methuen. Still snowing lightly. Finally, it looks and feels like winter!
  6. It would take a near guarantee of a repeat of the Blizzard of 78 for me to spend money to fly home early....of course by the time the plane landed the storm would be headed out to sea...a near miss...
  7. I would have guessed 15-20 inches below normal the last few winters...The Concord area also has to be below average the last few winters.

  13. I would have to say that southern NH has also experienced below normal snowfall the last few winters.
  14. Not sure, as I mentioned he heard the rumor from someone else who works in real estate.
  15. That is very low for that area. A friend who works in real estate told me he heard one of the ski areas out there is thinking of selling to developers.
  16. It is why many people have gotten out of the snowplowing business in our area. It has just become too expensive to own and maintain a truck.
