  1. According to WeatherUnderground radar, Enfield is right on the rain/snow line. Actually east of I-91 its raining per radar.
  2. My sidewalk is salted like crazy and is snow covered.
  3. This is the heaviest snow I've seen this Winter. 32F.
  4. 32 F with heavy snow. Instantly accumulating.
  5. Rain just changed to snow here with huge snowflakes. 34F.
  6. Heavy rain and 34F. Rain/snow line collapsing southward.
  7. Rain and 35F. Snow showing on radar a bit to the west.
  8. NWS really cut back the forecast snowfall from 2-5" to less than 2".
  9. Supposedly the East River froze over and you could walk on it between Manhattan and the Bronx. That’s insane for March. Parts of New York State had 50" + of snow. This is my favorite blizzard and i have a book about it.
  10. The 1888 blizzard had arctic temperatures. NYC was down to 6F at one point. The city started out as rain. Transitioning to freezing rain and then snow.
  11. We haven't done to badly in the snowfall department this season.
  12. Torchtiger doesn’t approve of this possible snowstorm. We should have a 50F rainstorm instead.
  13. If I recall correctly the 1888 snowstorm did a loop south of Eastern Long Island. That track makes sense with 21" of snow in NYC and temperatures in the single digits and a rain/snow mix in Boston and 10".
  14. Light snow and sleet mixture falling here in Enfield and 33F.
