  1. Still snowing here. Light snow and 30F. Any snow reports from Enfield? I can't get outside a drift is blocking my door.
  2. High wind gusts and drifting snow 2' drift outside my door. 26F and still snowing.
  3. Heavy wet snow and 31F. Accumulating on all surfaces.
  4. Had my adaptive skiing lesson today ar Ski Sundown. pre booked in October. Unfortunately extremely cold and windy. 9F ar 9:30 with 20-30 mph gusts. Managed one run. Good snow conditions. But poor visibility. Going again on February 14th. Looks much better weather wise.
  5. 14" of new snow and about 2" of existing snow-cover. We just had a snow shower move through with a coating of new snow. This is the deepest snow-cover since moving here in 2022. Currently light snow and 19F.
  6. Still 6F temperature staying the same. NYC currently 15F. Temperature similar to the Blizzard of 1996. But it looks like a change to sleet. 96 was pure snow in NYC.
  7. 3F here. New low temperature for my location. Previously it was 4F. I'm close to the Connecticut River so a bit warmer here.
  8. Green Mountain Freezer aka Green Mountain Flyer. At Jay Peak.
  9. Two coldest days were at Sugarloaf. December 1989 about -40F and January 2009 with my son. -24F on the car thermometer at Stratton Maine and -35F at Sugarloaf Summit. Skiing with any speed caused chest pain from the cold.
  10. 1989 was the first year I skied there. Oddly my coldest skiing weather. Close to -40F. December 1989.
  11. This storm potential reminds me alot of the Blizzard of 1996. Very cold with that storm. I was skiing at Sugarloaf Maine and it was well below zero during the daytime before the storm came up the coast. No snow fell in Northern New England. My parents house had 25" of snow in Northern Queens NYC with huge drifts. Feather light fluffy snow.
  12. It snowed here until roughly 5am. Total snowfall is 3" mostly on non pavement.
  13. The heavy wet snow yesterday was a treat. Huge flakes and snow-covered pavement just past noon.
  14. Forecast phail here. Maybe 1" today if that. At least the 3.5" from yesterday looks pretty.
