    DCA down 5 degrees in last 2 hours so most areas ranging 33-35 and now just need moderate rates for near full accumulation How are the boys at the bar doing and nabbed any snow groupie babes yet???

    4pm obs Light snow and 33.5. 70% whitening with almost 0.5” in full shade. Probably lost 0.5 to 1” due to time and temps.

    Ineffective sunshine with highs 20-25 and partial sunshine with snow cover and winds 15-20 gusting to 30 frequently. By 8pm air temps down to 15-18 and windy. Nary a night for man nor beast!

    The darker bands are moving real slow looks to me, like 10mph. Get under those and wait and see. Until DC radar does something different we don’t have to be pessimistic

    I think underplayed maybe, you tell me, is even though just 1-3” when we get into the 15-20 mph gusting over 30 to infrequently 40 then blowing and even drifting will be prevalent ? I May have to issue a Keep Your Ass Inside Warning for Sat night as even though gusts don’t count in wind chill there’s going to be some -10 or colder peaks.

    3pm obs 34.3 and moderate to occasionally heavy snow. Fully whitened shaded areas and partially sunny areas. if I was getting full accumulation its been at a rate of 0.5-0.75ph over last hour.

Got Old Ebbits in DC or Shuckin Shak in Frederick or Harris on Kent Island so between those and other places you slurpers may know if we could centralize it. First dozen for group on me!     It’s In Situ now with the visible imagery. 30.30 baro just perfect for 18< hours prior to onset . Radar, water vapor and satellite look right for 2-3” Dc proper.

    Again thank you. I seek relationships like you are referencing but some don’t want weather discussion but rather personal insults over model comments and instigation of personal attacks. Then they whine like pearl clutching Karen’s that I “overreacted”. Stay in your lane, tend to your own affairs , lay off insults and instigation and you will have a fine time with me.
