Just got a hoops sesh in. Even with the clouds, today is undeniably the nicest day of the week so far.

Yea, this has essentially been a weeklong, upper Midwest/NE pattern. Need to get some warming of the mids. I’m ready for 80s, sun with occasional afternoon storms to track, though I’d also take 70s and clouds at this point lol.

Started off with a little sun, but clouds continue to filter in with that cold upper level low still hanging around (though it does feel a little nicer outside overall). Hoping to see more breaks in the sun by the afternoon.

Also, unusual looking radar right now. It's as if every popcorn cloud is capable of producing rain. I guess this is what happens when you have an anomalously cold upper level low this time of year.

Been seeing more pockets of breaks in the clouds today than yesterday. Sun actually poked through for a few minutes here. Hopefully, any daytime heating doesn't cause too much instability/clouds the rest of the day...unless it's a thunderstorm. I'm kinda game for that. Was surprised to see it mentioned in today's forecast.

lol, I appreciate the snow pics because snow is awesome, but I'm kinda good on it imby until late November. I'll continue to appreciate it from afar. This has been a drab past few days (where it's not snowing), but the May stretch of clouds/mist for several weeks around 2016 was definitely worse. Looks like a nicer stretch of weather incoming after that monstrosity of a GL low moves out to sea.

Maybe I’m biased, but I feel like Frederick has been doing extremely well with this merry go round of vorts the last few days. Another shower about to roll through here.

This weather pattern is the pits lol. The only reason I’m tolerating it is because we needed the rain, but I’m ready for that GL low to move on out. These types of northern stream systems are becoming all too predictable…mostly cloudy, cool with some wind is the typical output. Awesome.

Temps are actually kinda tolerable...more so than I expected. Thank you, May sun angle.

I've found it be to a little more cloudy in Frederick compared to Moco. It's usually either post-frontal passage or from one of those little northern stream disturbances that causes debris clouds to stream across from the mountains. It's not a showstopper for me because I like being closer to the more rugged trails, but it's noticeable.

Looks like a welcome break incoming. Hoping to get some sun to peek through like yesterday before the cold front swings through later.

I've done pretty well up here with both events. Looks like 1-1.5"+ on average around my location a couple miles nw of downtown Frederick. Might be closing in on 4" total when all is said and done.

Few stations near me are reporting close to 2". Seems about right. We did pretty well up here with that last round...confirmed as I drove through it. Glad I biked yesterday as it looks like it's gonna be a little sloppy on the trails next week.

About 1"-1.25" on average around my area so far. Pretty good soaker.

I miss the 80s, but today and the upcoming forecast looks pretty classic April. I’m just glad the sun has made an appearance today to offset the cooler temps.

I suppose I can be best described as a snowstorm-loving warmista, so I've enjoyed the last few days temp-wise, but the pollen has been premium. I've had to break out the Allegra/Olapatadine combo a few times over the past week or so. Regardless of whether we can cash in on thunder, we do need the rain.

I caved and popped an Allegra yesterday. Not much in the rain dept here overnight. We’re still La Nina’ing. I do accept these temps, though.

I thought I was one of the only areas that busted with this system. Gonna need to rely on the frontal passage tomorrow night. In the meantime, I’ll be watching the 2nd half of the Warriors/Kings game.

Perfect weather in downtown Frederick rn. I’ve always been a fan of 70s and humidity combo. Still no rain…maybe some light stuff fell here earlier. Just isn’t my storm so far…most of the precip has either been nw or east/se of mby…but I do like these temps.

Barely any rain here overnight. Clouds are breaking up as well. Looks like a generally nice day on tap with scattered showers/storms.
