  1. Yeah it looks like a real mess is going to evolve up there.
  2. Winter storm watch up for the northern mountains. Should be an interesting event since its been dead around here.
  3. Yeah the wet pattern looks to stay around. Probably a miserable start to spring.
  4. Yeah we are far from over. This winter has been awful though but as some have mentioned this spring is probably going to be delayed.
  5. Yeah the models did not look great for a upslope event behind the front.
  6. After a bit of a lull we are back in the snow with the wind picking back up.
  7. That wont last long Joe. I think there is a high potential for a flash freeze today.
  8. Temps are pretty much plummeting currently with the grass and vehicles having a coating of snow on them.
  9. Heavy snow now with the temp down to 34 with the wind ripping.
  10. A SW mountains special. A strong cold front will bring precipitation early Tuesday, along with very cold Arctic air. Temperatures will fall rapidly and snow levels will fall through the morning before precipitation tapers off by the afternoon. Moderate to heavy snow will occur across the higher elevations of the southern North Carolina mountains and light to moderate snowfall is expected elsewhere across the North Carolina mountains and northeast Georgia. 11. Yeah this should be a decent event and very interesting with this arctic front coming through.
  12. Well this particular thread is the winter mountain thread. We mountain people keep all of our events in one thread as to not clutter up the forum. If a storm threat thread is going to be made it will be from someone outside the mountains.
  13. Heavy rain this morning with the temps dropping quicky. Down 8 degrees in an hour.
  14. What radar do yall use currently. I was using intellicast.com but since they went to wunderground there radar map has not been up to date.
