  1. Sweet! Not sure what we get down to at the house. Ill know later today. I went to Gatlinburg this weekend and got married! A beautiful weekend down here.

  3. Yeah looks like we will see some 30s and widespread 40s everywhere especially from Sunday night on.
  4. The last two nights have been very comfortable with lows of 48 and 45 respectively. Although we are well above average it's a dry heat.
  5. Looks like the GFS may be sniffing out a significant cool down in just over a week. We will see if it sticks because this pattern has been extremely stable.
  6. Yeah seems like we get 4 plus inches every storm up here this year. It's been way to wet up here this week with localized flooding. Next week should be great for leave looking and hopefully beautiful weather. Hope you guys enjoy!
  7. Yeah big rains last night. Very warm weather on the way and looks to stick around for a bit.
  8. We are getting rocked tonight by some big rains and big storms.
  9. We are running 14 degrees warmer than this time last year. Last September and parts of October were pretty chilly.

  12. Patchy frost this morning with a low of 33 degrees. One of the earliest times seeing frost in the field.

  14. Temp already down to 42 degrees! Going into the 30s for sure!
  15. Yeah when that front blasted through temps dropped quickly! Been waiting for this.
  16. Yeah this looks like our first real taste of Fall this season.
  17. The GFS and the euro are both showing something similar to this. The GFS has been bouncing this around for a few runs. Also this type pattern matched the telleconnections.
  18. It's fitting that Fall weather is coming right around the equinox. Get ready because it's going to be wonderful!
  19. Yeah I do think in the next 10 days we see some cooler air work back in but that's even impressive for the last several winters standards.
  20. You dont see a massive trough set up in the east at the end of September and dump upslope snow like its in the middle of winter at all usually.
  21. Entertainment purposes only but the 12z GFS gives the high elevations there first snow of the season near the 29th.
  22. it's looking more and more likely we see a pretty good cool coming towards the end of the month.
  23. Had a cold crisp low of 45 this morning. Was a bit cool but definitely enjoyed it.
