    Got nearly 5" here in New Providence yesterday, one of the higher amounts in NJ. Driving around town today, I can see mud and debris on the roads where creeks overflowed.

    Heavy rain for the past half an hour or so here in New Providence. Winds are starting to get gusty now

    Had a nice downpour a half an hour ago from a tiny cell that popped up over the area.

    Ended up with some gusty winds here, nothing severe I'd say, but had plenty of CtG lightning. I'm hearing sirens across town right now and wouldn't doubt a house got struck or something.

    Taking a pre-storm walk right now; my favorite kind of walk. The sky to my West very dark. Seeing some flashes of lightning too.

    Got like 30 seconds of rain here from that little cell heading into Essex county.

    Hearing some thunder here in New Providence, but I don't see anything on radar yet. Scratch that, my radar was showing an old image for a bit. lol

    Finger Lakes region of NY having quite a severe outbreak today. Several tornado warnings ongoing right now.

    Another severe warned squall line incoming for the shore points. That's like the fourth one today lol

    I remember seeing this during the 2017 eclipse. No leaves on the trees right now, unfortunately.

    Saw a little bite taken out of the sun, and then some clouds promptly moved in. lol
