    Ahh. Its an ESB called 'Duck Boat' from a small local brewer in Amityville named Small Craft. He makes great beer.

    About 6.5" new. Total pack about 13". Super bowl in an hour and enjoying an adult beverage. I'd say its a good day.

    Yeah. I just went out to play.. uhh..shovel the snow and measured 13 inches. Haven't had any sleet here yet either which was interesting. The snow that has been falling for the last few hours is mostly that tiny needle stuff though.

    Same. Came down a full degree in 20 minutes as the next band rotated in.

    I went down at 5pm and got a break in the clouds at 5:30. It’s about 15 degrees above the horizon to the SW. A simple way to judge degrees is to extend your arm and put the bottom of you hand (your pinky) on the horizon. The top of you hand is about 10 degrees. So look up about hand and a half to the SW and you’ll see it.

    Anyone catch the Saturn/Jupiter conjunction? Went down to a park on the water and got lucky for about 5 minutes when a hole opened in the clouds. Got double lucky when someone was there with an 8 inch Dobsonian.

    Just heard. RIP. Say what you will about the weather channel but that core group of mets are great. Dave always had tremendous energy and passion when on air. Will be missed.

    Thanks. Today makes 5 days. Forecasted highs are 90 or better through Thursday. Could make the low end of that list.

    Last minute decision to add the extra legs in the middle. I built the boards with 2x2's instead of 2x4's to try and make it as sleek as possible in an attempt to pack it in the car for camping trips. The two extra legs were just for more stability

    What's everyone doing for the weekend. Hosting a BBQ Saturday with the new American themed corn hole set I built. Will be at the beach the rest of the weekend. Water temps 70 or even better now. Get out there.

    Was a pretty great summer overall. Not a year with crazy hot upper 90s or 100s but the stretch of consecutive 80 plus is what will be remembered. The warm September gave my vegetable garden some bonus time too. ...now on to nor' Easter season!
