    More so people don’t care when models correct north or south with a rainstorm during the spring/summer. But in the winter a storm trend of 25 miles north can make all the difference.

    Looks like the back side is coming through Greenwich/Stamford. Wind is really picking up there again.

    Definitely wasn’t anything like that when it rolled through milford hah though we did hear a transformer blow a few neighborhoods down towards the beginning of the storm

    Looks like that will about do it for the rain here. Solid storm so far, about 5k without power in UI territory so far.

    Lots of rain to my west and north, nothing here though. Almost like a dry slot until that stuff south of LI gets up here.

    Both NAMs appeared to come in a little weaker/further east with landfall.

    Yesterday afternoon they went from 75F, 5mph wind to 51F an hour later with 51 mph winds and gusts to 64... then down to 33F a couple hours after that. Man that would be cool to experience.

    Gfs with a decent shift west, gets the cape real good.

    NAM jumped east, hardly even gets rain to Boston. Should still be fun for those out on Nantucket though.

    Was wondering if the clown range GFS was going to continue to show a hurricane plowing into the northeast... And instead it shows an early start to winter lol.

    Pretty much clown range but the GFS gives NNE their first freeze of the year on sept 9th lol

    Not too shabby. Not as good as the one we had a few weeks back, but a good amount of thunder and very heavy rain

    Looks to cool back down again Wednesday till the weekend. I don’t mind a day or two of dews and severe before we go back to this weather again. Light years better than last summers crap.

    Ya eversource is just now seeing some outages. Damn. Well at least it’s beautiful to look at.

    Nothing here, at eversource or south at PSEG. We shall see. The paste storm last year put us on high alert for all the 32F ish snowstorms that followed it, but none ended up doing anything. Hopefully this is another of those.

    The stuff just south of Trenton means business. Looks right on schedule to go through SNE.
