  1. From what I have gathered so far, The NAM was too aggressive with the sleet line, GFS was too QPF happy, and maybe the HRRR was right about the dry slot shutting precip off a little earlier than we wished it would?
  2. Kinda surprised it will be the strength of the storm itself and not the sleet that keeps us around 4-5 inches. Though maybe I’m being pessimistic .
  3. My Bernese Mountain dogs do as well. Was gonna post a photo of them but I kept getting errors about the image being too large so I stopped trying lol
  4. Seriously. They may somehow jackpot from this storm.
  5. Looks like the heaviest echos of the night are actually developing in SW CT. Should be all snow based on CC
  6. Some people in the NYC thread are reporting snow mixing back in. I’m hoping we can pull a GFS type solution here, though sleet aside I think the radar needs to improve a bit for that to happen.
  7. (No offense) but I’m happy to see your 10pm sleet line into SWCT hasn’t materialized
  8. 29F , snow coming down at a good clip. Everything covered. Going to spend a good chunk of the night watching the CC and praying we stay on the right side of it for a good part of the storm.
  9. Idk but it’s been different than most models the entire time with the delayed transfer to the coastal low. So hopefully it’s just being god awful.
  10. NAM seems locked in on sleeting here after about 4-5 hours of snow. Bleh.
  11. With how bad it’s been lately I genuinely believed this for like 10 seconds lol
  12. I get the casing of sleet makes it harder to melt but idk I think I would rather have the 7 inches of snow haha
  13. Eh getting a bit hairy down here with the sleet line. For most though yes
