    Yeah that's a pretty good jump west on the EPS. Didn't expect to see that at all.

    Yeah. If you look at the EPS/GEFS/GEPS there's still a lot of spread here. The EPS is definitely a western outlier. They're all underdispersive but when taken together you can get somewhere.

    Yeah it seemed as if the spread decreased quite a bit on the 18z GEFS. I probably wouldn't have minded seeing more spread/uncertainty given how crappy they are now.

    Ha. Chris is great but I dunno... I don't think the GEFS look very good at all to me. They are waaaaaay offshore.

    First cut of snow totals I have is 3-6 west of I-91 and 6-12 east of I-91. I've got 12+ inside 495 and most of RI.

    Yeah that low could be spurious to the NE but I'm not sure it makes a whole lot of difference for the outcome in SNE.

    Yeah the Euro definitely has a weird evolutuion with that surface low racing NE with the convection. Not sure it makes a huge difference. Also it still closes off the 700mb low pretty early.

    Yeah may actually wind up a touch better than 6z. Great for E Mass. Would have preferred to see a much bigger jump west though.

    RGEM is east but at least it's not a shut out lol Not too far from the GFS

    A crusher here. It also closes off the mid levels early... that's great for NJ and NYC too.

    I think the GEFS and the UK being so far offshore (plus a fairly far east NAM) definitely are red flags today. Want to see some sizable jumps toward the Euro. My gut is a Euro-esque solution is more likely but need some 12z jumps. The Euro isn't quite the king it once was.

    Maybe a bit east with the trough axis too? Anyway if that verifies I'll absolutely lose it.

    Came east a bit. Not great but not a huge change from 18z.

    GFS looks a bit worse to me.

    It's also quite slow compared to the Euro.... and has slowed down from 18z.
